Newly released data from Realtor.com for May shows that potential buyers and sellers in Muskingum County saw higher home sale prices than the previous month’s median of $232,000.
The median home sold for $265,950, an analysis of data from Realtor.com shows. That means May, the most recent month for which figures are available, was up 14.6% from April.
Compared to May 2024, the median home sales price was up 40.9% compared to $188,700.
Realtor.com sources sales data from real estate deeds, resulting in a few months’ delay in the data. The statistics don’t include homes currently listed for sale and aren’t directly comparable to listings data.

Looking only at single-family homes, the $262,000 median selling price in Muskingum County was up 17.7% in May from $222,667 the month prior. Since May 2024, the sales price of single-family homes was up 39.7% from a median of $187,500.No single-family homes sold for $1 million or more during the month.

Condominiums and townhomes increased by 152.2% in sales price during May to a median of $911,333 from $361,333 in April. Compared to May 2024, the sales price of condominiums and townhomes was up 356.8% from $199,500.
